  Boarding a horse by yourself

.Stay at five or six meters from the ramp. Walk decidedly remaining at head level.

.As you approach the ramp, you will of course put your foot on it at the same time as your horse. It's at this point that you will need, without brisk movements, to speed up your pace in order to get ahead of him.

.Keeping the horse behind you, you will overstep the front bar.

.You must definitely not tie him; instead, show him the hay that you had previously placed there in order to keep him busy. Get out of the horse box and fix the rear bar (without forgetting to use the safety pins).

.Close the ramp again (always with safety pins).

.It's only now that you can tie your horse.
