| Some things to consider when choosing |
| |
The choice of a saddle is very important as it determins your pleasure to ride
(if it does not suit you, you will not feel comfortable).
For your purchase you will have to consider different factors :
your budget that will
determine the quality of the saddle and its lifetime depending on the intensity of the use,
the riding discipline you practice
which will guide you on the choice of the model : wide and comfortable for outside riding,
technical for competition,
your morphology that will determine the size of the saddle.
There are two measurement units : in centimeters and in inches. As it is possible to take the measures in two
different ways, the size correspondance is not always perfect.
Only testing will guarantee a good fitting of the saddle. Anyway donít hesitate to follow the advices of
your qualified saddler who will make his best for your satisfaction and let you try the saddle.

| The Wintec "CAIR" system |
| |
CAIR panels are placed in the same part of your saddle as the flocking in
traditionally stuffed panels.
CAIR pannels fluidly adjust with your horseís muscle movement.
CAIR air panels hold their shape unlike traditionally stuffing which will,
over time, ride down and become unevenly compacted.
CAIR air panels do not need adjustment or special maintenance and require no re-stuffing.
CAIR air panels constantly adapt to your horseís shape as the back and shoulder muscles work.
| Potential pressure points from traditional panels |
| CAIR evenly distributes the pressure |
| Pressure will be distributed evenly across the entire length of the panel,
virtually eliminating pressure points. |

| The "Easy change Gullet system" by Wintec |
| |
At Wintec we know that you may need to use your
saddle on different horses, or that your horse may change itís shape as it matures, or gets fitter.
So weíve developed the EASY CHANGE GULLET SYSTEM© to enable you to custom fit your saddle to any horse
in just a few minutes.
Hereís how...
Firstly, use the EASY CHANGE GULLET GAUGEÆ to measure
your horseís wither, and determine the correct size gullet for the horse. There are six different gullet sizes available.
Then all you need is a screwdriver and a few minutes to change the gullet in your saddle. Itís that easy.
Unscrew both screws located under the skirts in the head of the saddle. |
Pull away the velcro closure in the head of the saddle and pull the panel down from the point pockets freeing
the front half of the panel. |
Remove the two screws at each end of the gullet plate. |
Fit new gullet by only starting each screw until
the gullet is lined up, then fully tighten both screws. |
Re-fit the panel in the point pockets. |
Re-screw the head of the saddle and close velcro fastening.
Do not over-tighten head screws. A firm pressure is all thatís needed. |
