A new concept of protection, elaborated in collaboration with the European Horse Centre (Belgium) with scientifically tested properties. Double replaceable Velcro fastening with flap. Machine washable. VENTILATION: Tendon temperature rise while exercising has been suggested as a causative factor in equine tendonitis. The supple structure of PESSOA tendon boots is fitted with open areas i.e. ventilated zones which prevent the horse's legs from overheating during exercise and especially during the recovery period and limits risks of tendinous lesions. Ventilation also enables sweat to evaporate, keeping legs dry. ERGONOMY AND PROTECTION: The horse boot is ergonomically designed to provide lateral support to the tendon during exercise. Material thickness varies to provide a protection adapted to the most sensitive zones. HORSE COMFORT: The flexible material allows perfect articulation mobility and prevents friction injuries. Lightweight non-absorbent material ensures that weight remains constant.
