Safety instructions: When fixing the rear bar, never stay in the horse's axis, in order to avoid a possible kick (picture 1). Moreover, should the horse suddenly go back, you would have no time to escape.
Essential precautions
:
• Verify the good operation of signalling lights.
• Verify the good coupling of the fastening system between horse box and car
• Fix a hay net (picture 2), making sure that its bottom is at least one meter from the ground (so that the horse cannot put a foot inside it). The hay acts as an anti-stress for the horse.
• Open the door before getting out of the horse box once that the horse is in, or simply in case of emergency. Catching sight of the outside from the back of the horse box will help your horse to get on.
• Make sure of the good ramp stability, so that the horse doesn't get unnecessarily disturbed.
Safety pins : During the travel, vibrations could cause the unlocking of the fastening system.
That's why it is essential to fix the safety pins (picture 3 and 4). |
