Description

Used by event riders mostly, the Norton Pro 5 points hunting breastplate is also used in show jumping.

Made of buffalo leather, padded and lined with full grain cow leather at the chest, neck and shoulder areas.

The 5-points attachments are:

  • at the girth with adjustable strap,
  • at the rings of the saddle, with 2 adjustable leather straps on double thickness elasticated supports
  • at the billets, with 2 adjustable lined nylon straps on leather and double thickness elasticated supports.

Features an adjustable and removable running martingale with snaps. Stainless steel buckles.

Clean regularly with glycerin soap. Feed with balm or leather grease.

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
