Adjustable, ventilated, and durable, this riding helmet has a removable and washable inner padding for easy maintenance.

The MIPS technology is a patented system, the result of nearly 20 years of research and development, designed to enhance brain protection.

The primary goal of the MIPS system is to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injuries in the event of oblique or rotational impacts by including an additional layer inside the helmet, between the outer shell and the inner lining.

This layer is designed to allow relative movement between the rider's head and the helmet itself in case of an oblique impact.

The MIPS system absorbs impact energy by allowing the skull to slide along the liner, mimicking the role of cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain "floats."

Rotational forces are thus better dissipated, and the brain does not strike against the skull, which helps minimize the risk of brain injuries.

Lightweight and very comfortable, the EQUITHÈME Wings shiny Helmet possesses the following features:

• An ABS shell highly resistant to impacts, even in extreme temperatures.
• A high-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) shell, lightweight and with excellent shock absorption properties.
• An integrated ventilation system in the front part of the helmet, with hundreds of embedded half-circles on the shell's surface, not only improving shock absorption but also allowing excellent air circulation in combination with front, rear, and central ventilation zones.
• An inner padding made of moisture-absorbing fabric, removable and washable.
• A microfiber fastening harness with a quick-release closure clip, a 4-point rear attachment fitting snugly at the nape.
• An adjustment dial at the back of the helmet for a perfect fit.
• A lightweight design, varying between 430 and 530 grams depending on the size.

The EQUITHÈME Wings shiny Helmet is CE certified, meeting the CE VG1 01.040 2014-12 standard, in compliance with regulation 2016/425/EU.

Maintenance tips

Store your helmet in a clean and dry place at room temperature.

Prolonged exposure to sun or freezing conditions can damage your helmet and affect its effectiveness.

Hand wash the helmet's internal padding.

For the external shell, clean it regularly with a damp sponge.
