Description

With its slightly curved mouthpiece, the Sprenger Satinox Short Shank Weymouth Bit sits naturally between the horse's tongue and palis, without discomfort or pressure.

With its short shanks and comfortable mouthpiece, it is ideal for horses and riders who are new to this type of mouthpiece.

Sprenger Satinox bits are the high-quality version of the anatomically shaped stainless steel bits. They feature an excellent finish and tested material quality.

The satin-finish centre section with its matt surface looks elegant and feels pleasant on the tongue.

Thanks to its curved shape, the Sprenger Satinox Short Shank Weymouth Bit offers space for the tongue and ensures even pressure distribution.

As the short shanks limit leverage, this bit is less hard than the Sprenger Satinox Long Shank Weymouth Bit.

The bit hardness can be varied by adjusting the curb chain.

The curb chain should be flat and in contact with the bit, allowing a 45° angle between the limbs and the axis of the mouth.

The use of a curb chain guard is recommended to protect the sensitive bone of the lower jaw.
