Description

Featuring a barrel with a slight tongue passage, the Sprenger Satinox Long Shank Weymouth Bit is a bridle bit that sits naturally well in the horse's mouth, leaving plenty of room for the horse's tongue.

Sprenger Satinox bits are the high-quality version of the anatomically shaped stainless steel bits. They feature an excellent finish and tested material quality.

The satin-finish centre section with its matt surface looks elegant and feels pleasant on the tongue.

Thanks to its curved shape, the Sprenger Satinox Long Shank Weymouth Bit offers space for the tongue and ensures even pressure distribution.

The long shanks accentuate the leverage effect and this bit is harder than the Sprenger Satinox Short Shank Weymouth Bit.

The bit's hardness can be varied by adjusting the curb chain.

The curb chain should be placed flat, in contact and allow a 45° angle between the limbs and the axis of the mouth.

The use of a bit guard is recommended to protect the sensitive bone of the lower jaw.
