Designed to improve the comfort of the horse, Penelope Elastic Reins allow to minimize the imprecision of the rider's hands.

They dampen the jolts associated with the strong actions of hands thus avoiding some misunderstandings with the horse.

The resistance and the length of the elastic are perfectly adapted to the tension of reins sought between the mouth of the horse and the hand of the rider, to the optimization of the hands' action while privileging the comfort of the horse.

Ideal for horses that have trouble making contact, they encourage them to stretch their line from above.

For the jumping, the Penelope Elastic Reins offer a great freedom of movement during the beating and the glide allowing the horse to stretch his neck without bumping into the rider's hand.

Penelope Elastic Reins are made of high quality cow leather with rubber reins.

The hands of rubber reins are dotted with small antiskid spikes avoiding the gradual sliding of the reins during work.

Oil new leathers with oil. Clean regularly with glycerine soap. Feed with balm or leather fat.

Size guide

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
