Description

Designed to encourage proper horse alignment while preserving its movement, the Pénélope Howlett Training aid is used in combination with the Pénélope Martin Collar and Pénélope Howlett Reins.

Sitting halfway between a martingale and German reins, its action prevents the horse from stretching out or raising its head too high, allowing it to work with an elevated back.

When the horse works correctly, the Pénélope Howlett Training Aid yields, and the rider only acts on the bridle reins.

Convenient and easy to use, this training system eliminates rider hand disturbances.

Attached to the Martin Collar with a carabiner, the Pénélope Howlett Training Aid is adjusted by connecting it to one of the rings on the Pénélope Howlett Reins.

The chosen ring for attachment determines the angle of head/neck opening.

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
