Description

An alternative to the bit, the Hackamore Metalab in chrome-plated steel protects your horse's mouth if he is sensitive or injured.

This "mouthpiece" compresses the horse's nose through the combined action of the curb chain and the leverage effect of the prongs.

Without any tension or contact with the horse's mouth, the Hackamore Metalab chrome steel should be used by an experienced rider with a light hand.

Because of its lowering role, close to the action of the bridle bit, it can be very hard.

Often used in show jumping, it can also be seen in trail riding as it allows horses to graze more freely and without constraints for horses that walk with long reins most of the time.

Made from chrome-plated steel, the Hackamore Metalab is fitted with a flat leather noseband.

The size of the mouth is a major parameter in the choice of the bit.

A bit at the right size contributes to the comfort of the horse.

The wrong size could hurt him.

Once the bit is in the mouth, there should be a few millimetres between the corner of the lips and the ring to avoid injury.
