Very chic with its wide visor and beautiful glossy finish, the EQUITHÈME Airy MIPS Glossy Helmet stands out for its high level of safety.

Equipped with MIPS technology, it helps reduce the risk of traumatic brain injuries during oblique or rotational impacts by integrating an additional layer inside the helmet, positioned between the outer shell and the inner lining.

The MIPS system absorbs energy by allowing the skull to slide within the helmet, mimicking the effect of cerebrospinal fluid, which naturally protects the brain.

This disperses rotational forces more effectively, reducing the impact of the brain against the skull and therefore decreasing the risk of brain injuries.

Features of the Airy Helmet:

• An outer shell made of ABS, highly resistant to impacts, even in extreme temperatures.
• An inner shell made of high-density EPS (expanded polystyrene), which is very lightweight and ensures excellent shock absorption properties.
• Hundreds of half-circles embedded on the surface of the inner shell that not only improve shock absorption but, combined with the front, rear, and central ventilation areas, also allow for excellent airflow.
• A removable and washable inner padding that combines moisture-wicking fabric with memory foam for added comfort.
• A precise adjustment system with a rear adjustment dial mounted on a 5-position frame for a fit that matches your anatomy.
• A microfibre fastening harness with a quick-release clip and 4-point rear attachment to fit the nape of the neck, along with a chin guard on the strap to reduce friction.
• A lightweight design: between 460 and 560 g depending on the size.

Maintenance tips

Store your helmet in a clean, dry place at room temperature.

Prolonged exposure to sun or frost may damage your helmet and reduce its effectiveness.

Hand wash the internal foam padding.

Clean the external shell regularly by hand using a damp sponge with a small amount of soap.
