Description

The Sprenger Novocontact Loose Ring Snaffle double jointed improves the comfort of the horse thanks to its oval shape which widens the contact surface with the tongue.

When the rider exerts pressure, the bit rotates slightly forward, allowing the narrow surface to act in the mouth for more precision and efficiency.

This double jointed bit is ideal for very sensitive horses that go against the hand.

The Sprenger Novocontact Loose Ring Snaffle double jointed is made from Sensogan, a new patented alloy, created by Sprenger, the Hanover veterinary school and the German riding school Warendord.

It is made up of a small percentage of copper with the trace element called manganese and zinc.

Sensogan is a high-performance alloy which:

  • reduces oxidation
  • regulates salivation
  • retains shine
  • promotes relaxation of the horse's mouth

Maintenance tips

Rinse with clean water after each use until no residue remains. Do not use if the jaw has an anomaly (damaged, rust, etc.).

Size guide

The size of the mouth is a major parameter in the choice of the bit.

A bit at the right size contributes to the comfort of the horse.

The wrong size could hurt him.

Once the bit is in the mouth, there should be a few millimetres between the corner of the lips and the ring to avoid injury.
