Description

Designed for riders who want precise action while preserving their horse's mouth !

Very imbued with the western spirit, the Norton Pro Tresse Side-Pull is made of buffalo leather and has a braided leather noseband and browband.

This bridle without bit is very stable and can be used like a classic bridle : the noseband should be fixed and located about 5 cm above the corners of the mouth and 5 cm below the zygomatic processes. (instructions to be adapted according to the morphology of each horse).

Thanks to its wide noseband, the Norton Pro Tresse Side-Pull has a softer action than the Side-pull Snaffle Bridle Norton Pro Corde, it is suitable for a beginner rider.

The Norton Pro Tresse Side-Pull is also recommended for :

  • horses with mouth injuries or sensitive horses
  • young horses
  • Horses with a tendency to become hooded.

The Side-pull bridle Norton Pro Tresse is sold without reins.

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
