Description

Made from stainless steel, the Metalab Curb Chain has 24 sturdy rings.

When laid flat, it can be adjusted easily and precisely thanks to its many rings.

For added comfort, the Metalab Gourmette can be combined with a curb chain protector.

By acting as a fulcrum, the Metalab curb chain allows certain jaws to be levered.

It is important to adjust the curb chain without tightening it too much:

  • You should be able to pass 2 fingers between the curb chain and the chin.
  • With your hand, you should be able to make a 45° angle between the axis of the horse's mouth and the shanks of the bit.
  • The tighter the curb chain, the stronger the action of the bit.
